AAF-Akron Announces Theme for 2018 American Advertising Award
Event promises to be the biggest night in advertising with spy chic theme

The Akron chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF-Akron) is hosting the 2018 American Advertising Awards, locally known as the Akron-Canton ADDYS, on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018.   

The prestigious American Advertising Awards event is a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by AAF. The American Advertising Awards, considered the world’s largest advertising competition, honors creative excellence and cultivates the highest creative standards in the industry. Awards are given in seven categories, including sales and marketing, print advertising, out of home, interactive, film/video/sound, cross platform and elements of advertising.

The event will again be held at the beautiful Akron Civic Theatre, 182 S. Main Street, Akron, OH 44308 from 5:00 – 11:00 pm. The theme this year will take you on a top-secret mission as The Man with the Golden ADDY, portrayed by The Devil Strip publisher Chris Horne, hosts the event as the Master of Ceremonies. The reception, beginning at 5:00 pm, includes tasting stations and a cash bar. The awards ceremony begins at 7:30 pm. Immediately following the awards, the official ADDYs After Party will kick off right on stage, complete with live music, desserts, coffee and cash bar.

Ticket prices will be divided into professional and student categories and are as follows:

Professional - $60 for Members, $85 for Non-Members
Student - $35 for Members, $40 for Non-Members
